I gotta wonder….do the other camera/modem manufacturers have as many issues as does Moultrie? Seems like it's always something with them.

For the past 2 to 3 years, my cell cam use has been limited to Browning & Tactacam.
I've had very little problem with connectivity issues (assuming there was at least some cell service where these cams were placed). When it has happened, it's typically just been a delay of somewhere between minutes and a few hours.

Suspect most these type issues are caused by either Verizon or ATT, rather than whatever brand cam you're using.

:) Cell cams still record to the sd card just like non-cellular.
You don't really "lose" any pics if the cellular function isn't working.
Occasionally, an upload will fail due to poor connectivity.
It's usually "there" with the next upload.
And higher quality photos on the cards. I still use a bunch of regular cams, but it is sure nice to be able to pattern a buck without stepping foot into his domain until its "game time"

That's why I dropped them. I like their still cameras and I still have several. I had good results with the modem for like 3 yrs then it was one thing after another with no pictures being sent. It was very frustrating. Then they'd update the app and it would work for a few weeks and stop again. I spent numerous hours on the phone with customer service as well as an ungodly amount of emails back and forth to them. Very frustrating to say the least. I moved on to another brand.
