First and foremost, catfishing will always be the #1 sport fish, but I'm going to try my hand at early season crappie fishing this year. I added a pair of Millennium SpyderLok rod holders for trolling and I ordered a Garmin ECHOMAP UHD 93sv GPS/Fishfinder. It is livescope ready in case I ever want to stoop to @RUGER level of fishing. Thanks @Spurhunter for the heads up on the sale price for the Garmin. Can't wait to get on the water.

Do you have the plates in the rear, so you can move them as needed? I find that having them back there works a lot better that in front, unless you are partner fishing with two folks on the front deck.

When i first started pulling cranks i would fish with 12 rods by myself.I would pulln8 and push 4 with 3oz weights.I learnt real quick ibdidntvneed thst many rods,but with the 12 it was easier to locate them and figure oit a pattern.
