Sold/Expired Trailhawk treestand.

Not a Biden fan, but his advice would be good here, "DON'T". As others have said, there's much better stands now. Much more comfy and way safer!

I fixed the one flaw I ever found with these stands and that was to add 2 extra back bolts that contact the tree so you can go up smaller trees, Other than that I hunted outta one of these for years and never had a single issue. Just because it's an older design doesn't mean it's bad, this isn't a Baker stand. The seat setup and how it folds completely out of the way and that big platform are the best I've seen new or old.
I'm gonna use my stand and the new hand climber when I go somewhere and hang the platform (strapped once it's set) in the woods at the house and add a lifeline.

The word efficient is not in his vocabulary. Therefore, DONT try to talk sense into the old man. He is set in his ways and won't listen to reason. You would be wasting your breath. He is all about the thought process . In other words, he likes to think about it and get prepared but doesn't actually do what he intended. All you can do is wish him luck and hope he is successful.
