Guide we use had a last minute cancellation and with decent weather showing up, we made the trip. Took 3 hours to have a limit

Ok jcdeerman, I feel like I should know this…. But how do u know john
🤣 His daughter is in my daughters daycare. Been to many birthday and halloween parties with him lol. You had asked me about a duck blind I put in for with him.I think y'all have another brother right with a pool (may have been your place)? We were there for a kids birthday party

Nice job. Looks like a fun day. I grew up next to Sardis and fished it 4-5 days a week growing up it seemed like. Ha.

How bad does the wind affect the lake?
I really wanna go there and my boat is more than capable, as it was used by the previous owner on wide open KY lake.
I put a new motor on it, however, and it is pretty underpowered.

Sardis is my "home lake". I fish there more than anywhere else. Wind affects it exponentially. The rule of thumb for gauging the wind at Sardis is whatever the forecast days, DOUBLE IT. If the forecast says 8 or more, go elsewhere. And don't think you can just get out of the wind and fish. I don't know how but it blows from every direction at once. A North wind is much better than south. Ruger, if you have any specific questions about ramps, etc. shoot me a text. If you want to go spider rigging there with me, we'll make a plan.

Thanks man, I will.
