To all you grinding it out in the woods... I pull up to work and lay eyes on this guy about 100 yards away on a pipeline. Made a couple of tiny calls from my vehicle and he came running.

Got in the parking spot directly next to me between me (black SUV) and the car at the beginning of the video. Full strut and gobbling.

Even called a co-worker (who shot the video), to come to see while I was in my vehicle. Finally had to get out and go into work. He was still strutting in the parking lot when I got out 40 yards from him and I walked in with him totally unphased by me.

Dude is still out there responding when I left for lunch. Think he is pretty desperate for some attention. He's almost tame with how he disregards my presence even just standing by a tree as "cover".

I'm not going to mess with him anymore. Hopefully, he'll find some hens to get up with. Beautiful bird. Shot a much better video of him spitting and drumming. He was within 10-15 yards at one point.

Plus co-workers looking at me like I'm crazy for being so into this turkey behind our office.

Here is a better video of him going at it yesterday at lunch. Our 2nd shift people show up around 2-3 in the afternoon and he was still out back strutting & gobbling his head off, totally unprovoked.

Haven't been able to make one gobble in the woods to save my life so far this year.
