All the new gadgets you guys have me trying to play catch up. I dove in head first on upgrading my boat. From stem to stern...lol. It will be worth it, my family, wife and 2 sons all like the outdoors.
This picture of the boat the day I dropped it off for the new motor. Going with new trolling motor, livescope has been ordered, 2 lithium 12v batteries, and a 2 bank charger. I am at boat dealer now waiting on them to finish install. I went with a 60 hp Suzuki. I loved the Evinrude, but original owner underpowered the hull.

I bought the Garmin Force 50" with BPS offer of 12 months zero interest. I got the transducer holder Seelite and a 20v Dewalt battery connection for the black box. I was counting on a connection to the cranking battery for the Garmin unit.

I just got the numbers, and was shocked at the allowance on the 40 E-tec trade in. Close to paying half of the 60!!
That's fantastic on the trolling motor. BPS also included free install.
Did you get a zero degree mount for your transducer to attach to the pole cause the one that comes with Livescope is canted a little. It's still usable but won't be completely vertical.

You will love the Garmin force. Like others said it has plenty of power. It pulls my Nitro 4mph. If it's turned up it will throw you out if you are not prepared.
There is a channel on YouTube called Garmin guru he has really good videos & information on the trolling motor & electronics. His videos will help & save you time & frustration.
Enjoy your boat & hope you catch a lot of fish 🎣
