I decided to take Friday off since I really thought the bream would be on plus I knew I couldn't fish Sunday.
Started at a lake I like. Lines in at 7:03, last fish of my 20 fish limit was landed 22 casts later at 7:45.
Loaded up and headed to another spot.
Caught 24 bream and kept 19 of them.
Decided I just wanted to catch fish so I went after the crappie.
I quit on number 100 and had 3 keepers.
Caught a couple female shellcracker and threw them back.
Next day a buddy joined me at another lake.
I caught 29 bream with 27 keepers he had 18 with 16 keepers.
We caught 5 shellcracker with 2 keepers.
Caught a small bass each and I caught a 4-5 pound channel. He kicked my butt but he ended up in the livewell.
Cleaned them all today. Packed the shellcracker, some bream and crappie up for my buddy.
I kept the rest.
164 bream fillets and a mudfish.
FYI it rained ALLLLL day Saturday.
