Opening day heard one gobble in the tree. Didn't hear another thing for over an hour. Then some turkey talk out front and a gobble behind me. Looked out the back window of my blind to see a fully strutting tom and two hens about 75 yrds. Called the hens in to the decoys with him in tow. The hens spooked and were leaving. Had to lean out the window to get a clear shot at approximately 20 yds. He ran and flew a total of about 75 yds to his death. The cool parts were watching and listening to him come in with my golden retriever in the blind with me. My dog followed the blood trail and found the bird. Awsome hunt!
