Well, we still have a bit to wait up here. All things are looking good though.
I worked on my turkey gun a lot this year. I'll post pics at some point, but I've added actual sites, a jellyhead .665 choke tube, camoed it up and put a sling on it. Far cry from the 14 pellets in a propel bottle that I took last year. I hope it kills as well as it did last year I was 2 for 2. Here is a pic of the pattern.
Hevi #6's 3.5" I moved the sight down a bit as the pattern at the top was denser, but as is there are 37 in the head/neck area at 40 yards.
yesterday I woke up plenty before daylight so decided to go and listen at a close by farm. Took the pup, and we heard at least 4 differnt gobblers on the 150 acre farm. Saw one in a field at 9. Came back by at 1 after fishing and saw 3 toms with 4 hens in one field and another big strutting in a different field. We be ready.
