1st report on RAGE

Most of the deer I have saw shot with a rage didn't pass through but did have a gaping entrance wound. I have a very good friend that guides out west and in the midwest and he says they seldom pass through but recovery hasn't been a problem as long as shot placement is good.

Personally, I want an exit wound so I'll stick with what works for me.

I prefer an exit wound (penetration) over cutting diameter too . Two holes are better than one , especially on high hits when you need an arrow to penetrate through the deer for a low exit hole and easier blood trail .
I rarely have an issue with fixed blade heads unless I screw up and hit high in the shoulder blade .
