2 more stands hung

Got 2 more stands hung between yesterday afternoon and this morning. Set up for a north and south wind behind my house. Big grown up tva power line section to my east that I know the deer travel and bed in and travel through my woods towards my field for food. Got one more to put on the field edge and I'll be set!

I put a hang on in the same tree I climbed last season. Killed a buck with crossbow the first afternoon I ever hunted the place Nov 5th of last year.

Put this hang on up for a south or SW wind. SE wind might be ok for it. Pretty thick in this spot but a nice trail coming out of the creek close to the tree I picked out.

I went to the woods this week to hang stands, but didn't get anything done except walking around in the woods and hung a couple cams.

Is that an "S" curve in the creek right there? I love those spots! Hopefully your new sites provide well for you.

Yep it pretty much does a long winding S curve all through my woods. Pretty awesome. It's pretty steep coming off the field into the woods then has a big flat bottom where I have the stands at. This pic is last October when I was walking and looking at the property. A few spots in this creek are about 20' drop offs. Amazes me that water washed it all out over many years.
