In the market for a new hunting shotgun. I've narrowed it down to 20 gauge with 2 barrels, O/U or SxS. It doesn't matter. I know that in general terms you get what you pay for. What would 2k get a man these days? Field versions are perfectly fine with me. The elaborate scrollwork is lost on a gun that rides on a shoulder chasing quail and dove. Conservative estimate ~1500 shells annual.

Thanks In Advance!

For 2k & 4 get a 686 Beretta, it'll last 10 lifetimes at 1500 shells fired a year. I dont have one cause I'm old and dont need one to last forever. I bought a Yildiz in 20 and 12. It's the best o/u for the money out there. I've shot the crap outta the 12 and never had the first hiccup.

I have two 680 series one 12 the other 20 ga. Don't use anything else anymore more and they're both in your price range. One of mine will go I. The ground with me the kids can fight over the other one
