Quote my 91 year old mother in law who has voluntarily given up driving describes her car as " it runs like thunder"!

- her and late husband bought the car at Earl Duff in Harriman with 3400 miles on it. Was told it was his wife's car……
-oil changed religiously at 3,000 miles.
- radiator is the past 2-3 years
-new battery 1-2 years
- new tires 1-2 years.
- NEVER smoked in
-upholstery, headliner are outstanding
- kept on a carport its entire life ( except the past year)
- and yes, driven mostly to church on Sundays, grocery store, and pharmacy, and only during the day.
- no major accidents….. one hit from behind by a worthless meth head without insurance

-it does have a rattle that I could hear when my wife was driving away with her in it. My MIL never heard it but there in lies the reason she is giving up driving.
Other than the front lights having cataracts EVERYTHING works including A/C and no check engine lights.
NADA list is $3000. KBB and Edmund's now want a license plate or VIN number for an estimate. With an unknown rattle she agrees $1500 AS IS. Manufacturers plate says 12/2000, the TN TITLE says 2001.
Bring a license plate, or some signage and cash ( no she won't trade for a gun), and this weekend it's yours. I will be in this Saturday to see her and sale it if someone is interested.
