2011 Archery Kill Thread

I don't have a pic but I'm on the board. Yearling doe, 15 yard shot, she ran about 30 yards. This is the first deer I've shot with a Shwacker and I hope to be shooting more.

Well I finally got my first one for the season... I mean after 3 misses, it was bound to happen sooner or later. This is my first ever doe and first tree stand kill in my second season as a bowhunter. I was blessed enough to nail an 8 pointer last year from the ground.

8 point Saturday Evening, 2.5 year old.

Mathews Legacy, Slick Tricks.

Ran to the bottom of the Freakin' Grand Canyon and flopped over. Straight uphill drag for 150 yards, big guys don't like that. :D

My wife was with me in a quick blind we made out if camo netting, it worked well and she almost got a shot herself. She spotted this one, or I never would have had a shot.

Great day, and my first bow buck in about 10 years.

Been a GREAT year so far.
Here are my results after 11 hunts.

Also, my son killed a GREAT 9 point that dressed 151 the same time I killed my eight *.

This is my first buck of the year, second for the season. 2.5 year old 4-point, dressed out at 120lbs. Got him last night just after 6. Now it's time to see if I can nail a wall hanger!

I killed this buck in Oklahoma on Oct. 1. He has 13 scorable points and we green scored him at 151 5/8. I shot him at about 8 feet from the base of the tree with a 125 Montec/Flatline combo. He went around 60-70 yards and piled up. I had a friend in the tree with me and we got the kill shot on video. To kill my best deer ever, with a bow at 8 feet and get it on video was awesome!

Shot a doe last night. First deer with a bow in 4 years. 20 yard shot with a Muzzy. She ran about 150 yards.

I shot her around 6:15pm

#3 deer for the year, #2 buck for the year... all with a bow! This guy was taken on opening day of ML in Shelby county. My biggest whitetail ever!!!!
