Saw 3 different bucks scent checking 13 does in an uncut bean field. Thus was the second biggest. His bigger buddy was able to escape without presenting a clean shot. He wasn't so lucky.

Buck cruising phase of the rut has begun. It's my favorite part of the rut cause bucks are expanding their area but hot does don't have them running around berserk.

Got this guy this morning. Don't laugh at my base layers. I did have camo bibs and parka on.

Quite a few deer added here in the last 2 days of this cold front! This one was my most dramatic to date but he's also my best Public land buck to date. Was my pleasure to share th experience with my Tndeer family.

About 30 yards. Lehigh muzzleloader bullets are rough on them even if you don't hit bone.

4-5.5 would be a guess. I have a couple of years of history with him and he was decent 2 years ago.
