Thank you Jesus! Last hunt of the season for me. Saturday morning of the last weekend He blessed me with a big 'ol nannie!! Tough season this year. Enjoyed every hunt.
You been hunting hard too. Congrats on a big 'ol nannie. Yes sir thank the Lord.

Late post.
Had a good season.
Smaller deer was shot last day of MZ season.
End of the day, start walking back to my UTV and here he comes thru a hayfield.
Get prone and spines him at 87 yards.
Best tasting deer I've ever had.
#2 I've gotten on my camera a few times.
December 14th after a second series on my grunt call, this dude starts coming down the mountain hauling ass looking for a fight.
70 yards head on. He runs and dies 150 feet down in a steep bowl.
Took me 1.5 hours to get him up.
He got Euro mounted
Had a good season.

Heck of a gun ...kinda miss hunting with mine but just hard to put down my 7mm mag . Nice buck brother .
Sorry I'm posting late but its been a somber deer season for me this year. Really didn't have a whole lot of opportunity to get out afterem this year. I lost a grandparent right at the beginning of the season and not long after had a parent get ill that I had to be caregiver for up until she passed in January. Been a pretty rough few months! Tell them you love them all you can, you never know when it might be the last time you get to say it!
I did get to go up north for the shotgun season weekend in November and take a nice buck opening morning. The wife said I needed to get away and get some air so I was able to get up there for a few days. I also got to slip away the day after Thanksgiving to take our niece and she got her first deer and buck here in TN. It was a 7 point. Awesome to see their faces shine on the first one! Her dad was more excited I think than she she was. Ha!
