Buddy of mine went with me this morning who hasn't hunted in 10 years or so. He killed this one about 8. 11 pt and his biggest deer he's killed.

3030. It went through a house fire in the 80's and messed up the bluing on it. But mechanically it's fine.

Saw a break in the rain this morning so I rolled out of bed and walked down to my stand and he came by about 10 minutes later. My cell camera told me he was coming. He ain't huge but he'll eat. I won't be buying beef this year except for Christmas.

Biggest body TN buck I've killed. Was all I had to get him in truck by myself. He never did grow much for a rack but he was old and will make lots of jerky!

Haven't seen him in daylight for two years so was surprised to see him. Tending a doe got him in trouble. Way too big for his rack.

I didn't even look. Was so warm I was hyper focused on getting him deboned and in the fridge to cool off. I'll take a look when I take him in for a euro.

Love those big bodied deer; guessing you didn't get a weight? Ran across this a while back to get deer in the bed of the truck easier, never tried it.
