Good eating deer Bro congratsRookie mistake… saw a buck cruising the far field at 250 yards. He came down and went into the wood line. Never did get a good look, just knew he had horns. 5 minutes later I saw the back of a deer crossing the lower field. After he crossed into the thick stuff below me, he turned toward me does second and all I saw in my scope was horns. As he turned and took a couple of steps, I fired. What I failed to realize I still had my scope turned up and at 50 yards in the thicket, he looked like a shooter. Stupid mistake, but he'll be tender eating. 5 point. Smallest buck I've killed in several years. Thank you Lord for a clean and quick kill.
Hi! I just thought maybe you would like to know there's a girl named Tamara Jane from Missouri posting your deer photos on Facebook claiming they are hers. I've attatcged the screenshots to my page for you to see!Got this one this morning as it was barely cracking light. 12 yard shot. 40 yard recovery. 125 grain Magnus stinger with 100 grain insert and a 300 spine gold tip.
