Son connected on goodn this morning at 0900. CVA MR, 90 grs BH209, and 245 gr Barnes TSX. 9 point, 183 pounds on the hoof! I'm proud of him and proud for him!!

Introduced one of son's best friends to hunting.
2nd hunt and he got his first deer ever.
Pretty nice 8pt….he was super stoked!!!!
He did good…. Shot at 7:02 and we just said sit till we get done hunting. Told him dead is dead, if not a quick death then bed and give him time. He sat like a trooper till 10:30. Reloaded, enjoyed some coffee.
We got there, found blood…… good trail for bout 150yds, dead deer. Good shot as well!!
Amazing how far they can travel fast.
Shot it with my Knight Wolverine converted to 209.
Me & son were super happy for him!!!
