I've pulled a lot of weight with many trucks, soon came to learn it wasn't being able to pull the weight, they could all get rolling, it was stopping it. Roads are flat round here, biggest hill is at the dump. Stopping in the hills probably would end in a crash if the breaks weren't up to it. Just over a ton and a half would be fun in a 150, but not a problem. I hear the breaks are better in them these days.

How is it none of those 1/2 ton's list the payload at a 1/2 ton... lol My guess is they are engines in more than 1/2 ton trucks.
