#3 got away!!!

well I said to myself aint gonna use no decoys today -- bad decision cost me a bird... Hunted a in Nashville this morning right at 6 - 3 hens flew right past me and landed to my right about 80 yds... They made no noise,,, I continued calling - look across the ridge and here he comes ,,, as soon as he saw them hens he cut to his left,,, tried but as you could see I couldnt bring him back.. He was a nice one,,, tried to get close and call him but no luck.. he was love struck.... I am just sick right now cant frickin believe it ,,, First time without decoys and this happens.. Have yet to get a bird off this farmm this year... Learned a lesson today -- never leave home without themm.. turk

I dont think they would have helped if he saw the hens first.

I personally dont use decoys...seen too many get less dominate once they come in and leave the seen, it might change in you situation with big fields and such JMO!!!
