When you got to a 3D shoot what are you looking for? Good course, easy walking, novelty shoots, trophies? Just seeing what everyone likes.

I like a good clean course to walk on. It ain't got to be a golf course but I don't want to feel like I've got to be an Iron Man competitor to walk the course either. Some places will put you down in a swampy muddy holler, where you fight the mud and skeeters the whole shoot. That ain't fun! Nor is picking a hundred ticks off you during/after a shoot.

When Eagles Wings were around, they had the best local course by FAR of anywhere around. The trails were good. The terrain was good. It was well marked.

But as far as what draws me? Well I ain't shot in in about a year now, but what use to drive me was competition. Now days I could care less and if I shoot one, I hope its set up to simulate hunting situations at realistic hunting yardages.

Variety of shot and types of targets. I dislike the ASA down and back set up and prefer a course through the woods and a field shot or two to work on my judging in all situations.

Probably my favorites have been some in North GA when I was going to college down there and OHLBH in Nashville. They always put on a good shoot and you cover some ground and different situations.

Indoor or Outdoor, it don't matter as long as me and the wife shoot once a week. You got to just love it...

I prefer the hunting set up of a course the best, like the real thing...

I just like to shoot period. I dont really care how tough or easy the course is. The way I look at it is if im challenged during a shoot or when we're just practicing, then an actual hunting shot will be easier. The one thing i do enjoy about 2 or 3 day shoots, is that i get to camp, and hang out with like minded people, same as me.
