It's almost here folks. 4 weeks from right now my son and I will be headed south to Columbus Mississippi to open up the 2014 turkey season! I'm starting to get pumped!

I was hoping to take a turkey trip to Alabama with the wife during her spring break but then found out her break is the week before it opens in Alabama. South Florida seems like a heck of a drive.

Well I gave in. Headed to South Florida March 7th. Turkey hunt the mornings and do stuff with the wife of evenings. I have no clue what Im getting into but I guess thats the adventure.
Glad I gave y'all somewhere to discuss Florida turkeys. Pretty sad to hijack a thread about a kid's youth hunt. I guess everyone doesn't have the "new topic" button.
