Got up to go and couldn't find my shells! Grabbed my daughter's Tuffy Turkey and headed to KY. Daylight heard a string of a few gobblers talking spread down a ridge. Setup in the road and made some calls but the hens were on the far side of the ridge and I figured it would be a long morning. One of them decided to play by the rules and proceeded to gobble every 20-30 seconds. Sounded like the rest of them worked away from us. Couple hens popped out first and ended up about 10ft from me when he finally showed his head. Getting on him spooked the hens but he barely had time to stick his head up from his strut when I had the red dot on him. I'm on the board! Now doubling down to get the daughter on one.
