.45 caliber 240-250 gr. XTP for deer

Just wondered if anybody had experience with these? I have wondered how they hold together and expand on deer. I know some hunters use them in muzzleloaders at probably 1600 fps or faster.

They are responsible for thousands and thousands of deer deaths! Great bullet ,hold together well and flat knock the snot out of em

I use them in my smokeless ml with great results. The few that I recovered held together and expanded well.

The 240 grain XTP mags do very well on deer.

I've used 44/200, 44/240, 44/300, 45/230, 45/250, and 45/300 XTP's in my M/L over the decade. Recovered a few and they all were perfect mushrooms. I finally settled on the 45/300 just because I found them to be more accurate and almost always get a passthrough. I shoot 240's in my Redhawk 44 Mag.
