And so has everyone else, there are 3 teams ranked ahead of Vols that we beat, really it does'nt matter tho
Let's examine the term cupcake as it relates to college football and discover its real meaning:
Tennessee played Virginia. Virginia is from the ACC, which is a Power 5 conference. Tennessee made Virginia look like a cupcake.
Your team, Tiger High, played Bethune-Cookman, which is an FCS school that has won 4 games in the last 3 years combined, and has a new head coach and 50 new players. Bethune-Cookman is, in fact, a cupcake.
Nope. I don't know why folks worry about polls this time of year, although they are fun to look at. Just win the games and the polls will take care of themselves.

literally just had one tell me that they are winning the natty this year, because Saban hasn't gone more than 3 years without one... Oh he also told me Bama was the best team in the SEC and the nation and that GA is not.
That MTSU beat down has a lot of them think Milroe for Heisman, but he at least admitted he needed to see him against TX or a "real" opponent to be confident in him.
total Mystery... How about that Clemson ranking. I get it Hooker is gone and there are questions about Milton's accuracy. We also lost O lineman to the NFL, but no way it was justified to rank LSU and Clemson higher than TN.

South MS Nole here! Being I'm surrounded by LSU fans, I loved every second of the FSU/LSU game, especially the 2nd half!!! FSU cleaned up foolish penalties and made better adjustments at half than LSU. The last 8-9 yrs have been rough being an FSU fan, but Mike Norvell finally has em headed in the right direction. Hope they can live up to the hype the rest of the way! GO NOLES!!!

A strong FSU helps us in that it hurts FL and could impact GA.
