A RIMFIRE shot in the air?

I never thought about this because everything I have hunted has been on the ground. But all these posts about .22's and running out and blasting squirrels got me to wonder. A bunch of those miss, if the truth was known, possibly more than hit. I doubt most are like our eraser sized group forum shooters.

So isn't that reckless and a problem?

I'd be more worried about CF misses I think.

Only for those that can't shoot eraser sized groups. If you had an accurate 22 you could do the same.

Unless it's a blackboard eraser I can't do that no matter what kind of gun I had.
I know you would never miss, but I was talking about those of us who are just regular humans.

You really missed my point in the original thread, but I dont think that was too hard for you. Quarter sized groups at 40 yards, just aren't that impressive. If you're happy with your rifle, none of the rest of us should matter anyways.
