Someone was talking about these the other day, so I decided to turn some, as I'm flirting with a new design anyway that is lower profile. I thought they turned out pretty nice.

One is green slate and the other is gray. Both over glass soundboards.

Believe it was me. I hate the hackberry tree itself, but it does have a nice wood grain look in my opinion.
