Has anyone ever seen or had a pass through from a Rage? I've yet to hear of one. They definitely will take them down but just haven"t yet seen or heard of a pass through. I'm still using 10 year old spitfires.

I have used them twice and did not get a pass thru either time and one of them was admittedly a gut shot. I also have two friends that have used them and neither of them have gotten a pass thru. Heck, even the Drury brothers don't get pass-thru all of them run off with the arrow sticking out the side.

i have had pass thrus on every deer i've shot with the rage except one. it was a high shoulder shot. i've been using them since 2007. countless pass thrus on does. i've had pass thrus at 42 and 39 yds. both of these were bucks, one which dressed 215 lbs.

Every one I have shot over the years using em has passed
Tons of people have had pass throughs with Rage broadheads. The two deer I killed with Rage were complete pass throughs.

What are you talking about...I never shot a deer with a Rage in the gut lol!
the drury brothers are only shooting like 52lbs with 26 or 27in draw and pushing a 2in cut broadhead their not gonna get pass thru, that being said they still find their deerTNDeerGuy said:

Just killed my first deer with a bow today at 9 using a rage 2 blade. 45 yds complete pass thru. Found the arrow 10ft past where she was standing.

I dont get pass through just some massive holes last two I shot never took a step.
I had to do some digging but this was my first deer I killed with a bow...it was about this time in 2009 and it was with a Rage broadhead. It was a 25 yard shot and a complete passthrough.

I have shot 12 deer with them in the last two years. I have had 6 pass throughs and the ones that didnt I had holes on the exit side but the arrow didnt have the a$$ behind it to push the blades through. Im shooting 64 pounds at 28.5 with a 357-360 grain arrow. I shot a fairly good sized buck last week with an entrance just foward of the back shoulder and the tip poked out just behind the front shoulder. Less than stellar angle and the arrow still almost passed through, LENTGH WISE.
If you arent gtting pass throughs, its all mainly shot placement. But you can buy the crossbow blades at 1.75" or the 40KE blads at 1.5". But IMO with a 2 blade head 1.5" will do th job but thats cutting a little on th small side.
