? about Rage broadheads

I had to do some digging but this was my first deer I killed with a bow...it was about this time in 2009 and it was with a Rage broadhead. It was a 25 yard shot and a complete passthrough.

This was a 2009 Parker Blackhawk 29" draw and 67 lbs with a 380 grain arrow about 70 lbs KE

Bet that was fun to field dress UT. LOL. Hate it when that happens. Good shot though and nice holes.

When I used them, I got a pass thru on every deer.

I don't understand not getting pass thrus on whitetail deer with a 2 blade Rage. A couple years ago, a guy I met while archery antelope hunting showed me a photo of the exit hole on a big bull elk. The hole was nasty. Ray

I have shot 4 deer with Rages... 1 pass through and 3 that didn't (2 never made it 50 yards, the last was unfortunately never recovered). In defense of the rages 2 of those that didn't pass through were my fault. My neighbor shoots rages and says that he has had a pass through on all of his deer.

i've shot two does so far this year and both were pass thrus. Both does were killed with the same rage and arrow.

Shot a doe this year with crossbow...pass through.
