Have any of you seen any signs of acorns on white oaks in middle TN ? The hickorys are just crazy loaded down...but not oaks....? will look further back tomorrow. Just wondering what yall have seen.

I was in the woods along the Hatchie River bottoms (SW TN) yesterday and saw tons of Hickory nuts on the tree and a lot already on the ground. My buddy and I noticed them and even had a brief conversation about how many there were.

Here in se tn loaded in chestnut oaks and have seen some white oaks and red oaks. By the size of them there way ahead just hope they don't drop early!

Found them in Lawrence and Wayne counties........not sure how thick yet but will know in about the middle of july.....more later.+

I have been checking trees for the last three weeks.
I can honestly say the places I hunt is by far loaded down more than I ever have seen it.

Reds, Whites, Chesnut, Water Oaks....Apples, Pears, Beech nut
It is insane the food around
