I know they're kinda slow-growing but I have about 20 of the ones that had already sprouted, planted in some pots.
I'm going to plant a grove of them in the back field, someday they'll make an awesome bow hunting spot.
Yea it would be great if they grew as fast as pine.

Was out with the lady yesterday hiking the AT and there were tons of acorns and hickory nuts all over.

Cannon County loaded where I'm at
Like walking on shooter marbles in Williamson and Marshall county in my spots!
I guess I've gotten lucky. I've found two areas with acorns. 3 trees dropping red oaks and the 2 white oaks that are holding. They are few and far between.
My spot in Lewis county has zero-
