Can't really say I did anything special except dress warm and have some trigger control.
Bout 6:30 had a very respectable 8 point come out and cross right in front of me. I never even touched my gun. Just watched and attempted to get a pic through binoculars.
15 minutes later, out of the same field but different direction, this buck walks out. Believe he was bedded with a doe and possibly leaving her after breeding based on her coming out of the exact same spot shortly after and heading the opposite direction.
Heavy and tall. Made a good shot on the move. Back at the house by 8AM. Hard to complain!
