I like the special character of those calcium deposits (nodules) near his bases. Very pretty rack.

I think he could be as old as 4 1/2, but could be only 3 1/2. Based on your prior year pic, don't think he could be any older than 4 1/2.

But, if he does start looking more like a 3 1/2, consider that he would likely gain considerable more mass living a year longer, along with some of those calcium nodules become scoreable sticker points. Very hard to let a 140-plus class buck walk, but just consider what another year might do if he's only 3 1/2.

Just curious, would you pull the trigger on him if he was only 3.5? I understand what he could be but no way that I could pass up a deer like this regardless of his age. Very few people on here on anywhere would pass this deer. However, it wouldn't surprise me if you considered it. Just curious. Also, let's assume that it is opening day of mzl and not the end of the season.

this buck will score big!! like 160's to 170's I have seen smaller deer killed on tv and in real life and score bigger than 140" I'm glad yall don't score my deer!
