It hurts bama more if they get beat, LSU has more quality wins
No Doubt... I say its a Must Win regardless of what all these experts have to say. Roll Tide.

Unless Bama gets the Clemson/Kelly Bryant treatment. Upon reflection, I think LSU is hurt more by a loss in this game.
how do you come to that conclusion? Look at the body of work between the two teams. Huge diff.

Lsu opponents total wins is something like 44

Bama opponents total wins something like 36

And Ohio state is right there win bama

I would have to go back to verify
Those stats I threw out but it's really close

Simply put LSU has done more than any team in the country no matter how you slice it.

Losing to the number 3 team in the country should not hurt them too bad. Hopefully that doesn't happen

I can help out with the stats. But first, OSU and LSU are both great teams.

OSU opponent winning %: .563. Beat #13 and #20 by a combined 80-7.

LSU opponent winning %: .545, which includes an FCS team (OSU doesn't schedule FCS teams). Beat #10 and #11 by a combined 65-48.

Committee is valuing schedule and play on field (both sides of the ball).

By comparison, Alabama's combined opponent winning % is .391, worst in the Power 5. Alabama has their FCS opponent coming up on 11/23 aka chickensh** Saturday.

You are correct that a loss by Bama should hurt them more (and maybe it will with this Committee), but ..... Bama. You know what I mean.

Go Tigas!
i should have checked my stats before posting. Someone showed me something off twitter or Instagram earlier that obviously had some bad stats. I took it for what it said but I (it) was wrong lol

This will all sort itself out over the next few weeks.

The hardest part about this game is me staying off of all social media until about 7:00 p.m. till I can watch it. :D

Shouldn't be too bad though because I am gonna spend all morning at the duck blind then go out to eat for the wife's birthday. :D

Yea I don't get off until 4:00. Gonna have to stay off the internet at work and turn my radio off for the drive home.

Since Bama came out 3rd and ranked below LSU (as they should be) I think the team will use that as motivation to play at a high level and prove people wrong. Also LSU's starting linebacker/best pass rusher Michael Divinity has left the team citing personal reasons.

Alabama 35
LSU 24

Ive not talked to one real football person that thinks OSU is the #1 football team in the NCAA. Its Laughable.

Heck they might not even be #1 anymore if they take all their wins away LOL

I don't see the committee letting Bama in if they lose. They did it in 2017, not winning their division nor even playing in the conference championship BUT they took a lot of flak for doing that. I don't see them letting it happen again. The difference at this game is...Bama doesn't really have a quality win on the resume this year. LSU has several. If LSU loses at Bama, where Bama has been on a 30 something win streak at home...then it's still not too bad for them. BUT...if Bama loses....at home...I think they don't have a chance to "get in". Then again I've been wrong plenty of times before. I do think it is going to be a great game to watch. Can't wait. Roll Tide.

I think your exactly right about that. Of course there is always the chance that the teams ahead of them get upset before the end of the season and somehow someway Bama gets back in the mix.

Geaux Tigas!
