All Deer Shoot 8/23

Old Hickory Lake Bowmen will have its annual All Deer Shoot this Sunday. The course is set up to resemble hunting situations. There will most likely be two elevated shots with several uphill and downhill. Competitive classes and a fun class. Either 20 or 25 targets. Al will be there cooking chicken and burgers.

I'll be there about 11:45. I would imagine Double Drops will be there signing autographs.

I'm half tempted to leave my tournament bow at home and shoot in the Hunter class with my hunting bow. OK, maybe less than half tempted

What times and can we just show up or do we need to register?

Show up and shoot. Starts at 8 and you can start as late as 1.

I wish I wasn't working so much or I'd think about driving the 5 hours back up there to shoot...okay maybe not but it's a good thought. You guys have a good time.

Sounds like fun. If it was closer or sat. I would come. Going up to Cape G. sat. for a shoot.
