. . . . . I am talking about the new generation I know a few new turkey hunters that go a few years without killing a bird because it just hasn't clicked yet. that's what I am talking about.
It's generally not as easy AS SEEN ON TV! :D

If you want to kill a turkey, you must first have an official sticker on your shotgun to be certified.

I wonder if deer hunters had this discussions a few decades ago. Treestands? Why do you need a treestand to kill a deer?

Now, just about every deer hunter hunts out of one.

Not even relevent to this discussion....

I'm not trying to throw deer hunting in the mix. Just brought it up as another example of how hunting has evolved over time.

I do... and now they are now officially "decorations" per Catman529....

I have one on several of mine

Eventually I think all that is going to happen is when a Tom sees a strutting turkey in a field they will run the other way. I'd feel pretty bad to be in a field with that decoy and have someone see me. I have read of Toms being so decoy shy that when they would see a hen they would run the other way. Time will tell how this pans out, personally I hope this decoy is a flop. Doesn't give new hunters anything good to think about. Some fool would probably try it on public land. of course you would have to find a big enough field to do it.
