Which one looks better? I'm from Alabama and bleed crimson, so my answer is neither because of all that darn, eye-bleeding, god-awful orange, but I want unbiased fan oriented opinions.

I like the second one. But why not put a full wrap or dip on the arrow? I like cresting.

My nephew arrows I made for him.

I really need to get my cresting stuff out again. I miss it.

i live in bama now . but i still bleed orange . i been having thoughts of getting the reezen tricked out in white and orange.thanks for the ideas .

Hoss, I have played around with full paint w/crestings, but haven't been completely satisfied/confident in the adhesion properties of the combos that I have used up to this point on carbonmetal and wood is relatively easy. They work with carbons, but are somewhat fragile and I know I can improve it with time. I just started cresting around the vanes until I get it perfected. Fletch-laq and dipping is what I'll be trying next, but it is somewhat expensive. Here is some that I've done in the past. If you have any tips, feel free to share.

Dipping is a bit of an art form. The lacquer has to be thin but not too thin. It will take several layers, but how many???? It is a game of trial and error. I am no expert, but I need to get back to it. I really do miss it.
