They deserved to lose tonight. Bama has been overrated for the last 2 years and it's beginning to really show. I look for Saban to cash in his chips at the end of next season or maybe the following season.

Saban is done. He won't be able to handle not being elite anymore. To many teams have caught him in recruiting and now out coaching him. Brian Kelly out coaches him.

LSU looked good. Bama still has a good team but they're not elite as they were and teams aren't afraid to play them. Heckuva ballgame and kudos to Brian Kelly for going for 2 and the win. That was gutsy!
I'm not so sure. Take BY away, and they just aren't that great. He masks a lot of deficiencies.
He definitely covers up some of their pains but I think that could be said for others too. That's why I said they're good but not elite.

I didn't get to watch any football today due to working midnights, but all I can say is wow. What a Saturday.
Wow indeed! I just now woke up to see the score, and watching the replay I see where bama went for 2 after their last TD? Why? Cost them at least the chance in OT looks like?

This isn't the first time Alabama has lost more than 1 game in a season under Saban. Maybe it is the beginning of the end of the Saban era, but I wouldn't bet on it.

I believe most of that is on the OC. BUT, I also believe Saban is losing the "fire in the belly" to be the hard ass that he's always been. Age is catching up faster each year lately. It's been a helluva run though.
