Another 10+ from the Chic

Thanks and to answer the questions, I really didn't catch more than 2 off any particular area. I moved around and found a few different schools in one big area. Those familiar with Harrison Bay will know what im talking about when I say there are half a dozen+ different sweet spots that need checking to see which is holding the right size on any given day. The problem with these fish is they weren't pulling up until mid afternoon which is about the time we had to make the long run back to Dayton. Matter of fact I seriously considered sitting on them and absolutely jerking them just because I knew deep down they were coming too late to really help us the next day. Wishful thinking they would show early but as I suspected it didn't happen! I often practice without even using a hook but ledge fishing is a different animal many times.

Im on the chic 3 or 4 times a week fishing and some days its on fire and some days its hard to find them but thats a good solid fish and I believe within the next few years someone is going to set the record from the chic but you STILL HAVE TO KNOW what you're doing on the chic to be successful but thats a fish of a lifetime and congrats on it I was out there fishing Friday and saw all the kids fishing I came to the mouth of opossum creek and there sat like 7 boats so I just made a u-turn and hit the back of the creek

Thanks HD and I agree its still fishing even though some giants live in the Chic. Lots of good places about to get exposed even more this week with Bassfest starting tomm. Im sure we will see a 10+ weighed in this week and maybe a few of them. The pressure in the last 3 yrs has gotten unbelievable there with the huge bass being caught, I just hope it can withstand it.

I welcome all the attention and I believe it will hold up to the pressure of all the people cause like I said you still have to know how to actually catch them and there are a select few that I personally know that can wear them out day in and day out Plus with the attention the lake gets maybe they will fix some more boat ramps and a big thanks to twra for their part of the stocking of Florida strain bass I believe they just dumped a huge number in there last week or so and said within 4 years the bass that survive would be about 3 or 4 pounds but I like to see what it takes to win the tourney this weekend I believe95 plus pounds total
