Edit: just took a look, their 24 pack of alkaline are &5.89, 8 pack of lithium $42.95

I bought in bulk last summer and felt lucky to get Energizer Ultimate Lithiums at $1.90/each

Office Supply had the best deal on lithiums last summer, bought a bunch. Worth checking with them from time to time.

Looking at my usual list of suppliers, for Energizer Ultimate Lithium AAs, most good deals are in the $2.50/battery range. Found one supplier at $2.38/battery, but you had to buy 100.
