One more saddle question for you guys. Everything I've read or seen in videos talks about how comfortable saddles are.

I have lower back issues. Sitting in some chairs actually hurts my back. Laying in a hammock hurts my back. Does anyone with lower back issues use a saddle? If so, how is it on your lower back after a long hunt?

I'm currently using a summit climber, which is amazingly comfortable. It's not uncommon for me to sit all day. I can stand and stretch when need and when sitting, my lower back is supported pretty well. I'm wondering if a saddle will provide lower back support.

I have back issues. Can sit/lean for good chunks in my Cruzer XC. When my back starts hurting I have a Tethrd back band I whip out. Gets me over that hump that creeps up around the 3.5hr mark.

Also, seems like you will likely have more questions. If you are near Cookeville DM me and we can link up for you to try my saddle and a lil info share

I appreciate that. That's awesome of you to offer. I'm actually headed east past Cookeville on Wednesday and have contacted the Cruzr guys about stopping by there. I may take you up on your offer if things process and I have other questions.

Thanks

Go see Chad. My advice pales in comparison to his. He will take good care of you

I can comment on the Cruzr XC. I had back surgery 14 years ago (ruptured L5/S1) and still have to watch what I do. Sitting too long on a stool, bleacher, or hard chair is a big no for me. I've never noticed any back pain or discomfort in the Cruzr. I use the Cruzr back band too. I have no desire to try anything different. Also have a summit viper sd that is very comfortable to me.

That's me exactly. I'm also a no go for a stool, hard chair, anything without back support. Bleachers are the worst. Thanks for the input!

Chad and CRUZR are located in Cookeville along with Dane that makes the DRYAD DREY.
Im 250 and hunted the cruzr xc last year. I had to have the back band but it was nice after i got comfortable with moving and adjusting for my shot. I love it.

These boys are trying to sell some Cruzrs! lol are they really better than Tethrd XLs or the ESS? I have researched and researched and those are probably my top 3 choices. Im interested in getting one soon...

Man I must have done something wrong. My cruzer was not comfortable at all. Don't know why.
That's why they have so many makes and models. Not all body types are the same. They first saddle I had was like a mid evil torture device all the while everyone was bragging if it's comfort.

My XC was comfortable from the second I tried it on at Chad's shop. The next day my buddy came over to try it and said it was horribly uncomfortable for him. I adjusted the bridge and it made all the difference in the world. He loved it then. After having a saddle with an adjustable bridge I'll never have one without.
