Any .22lr Handgun People

My favorite 22 handgun is my Browning Buckmark. I replaced the plastic top strap/rear sight assembly with a steel one from Brownells, put a TacSol threaded barrel on it and did the trigger spring flip. It's extremely accurate and shooting suppressed is more fun than should be allowed 😁
What's it take for acquiring a suppressor for a .22 these days? I see ads for them all the time on another social media site.

Love some .22 handguns. Two most favorite are a 22/45 MkII and a Buckmark Camper. I dont shoot often, but the Buckmark seems to get used more these days.

@Wiley, your Buckmark setup sounds awesome.

@Lt.Dan you might try seeing if anywhere has a rimfire steel challenge type match in your area? Ive never been to one, but it looks fun.

Just an FYI, I recently acquired an Sig P322 and it's an absolute blast to shoot. 20 rd mags are nice. I still haven't found any 25 Rd mags they claim to offer.
I haven't seen any either. I have one of those P322's. I got mine when they first came out. I've only shot a box or 2 of ammo through it. I went on a down size in caliber thing when ammo went out of sight a few years ago.

I've heard of them and watched some YouTube videos. They do look like fun. I will have to check on it. Thanks.
Can't recommend it highly enough

I only have a couple .22 pistols: Ruger wrangler and a tx22. The Taurus is threaded and I got my first suppressor for that thing and it is a ball to shoot. Looks like the newer versions have the plate to mount a red dot but mine doesn't.
I want something like a Ruger 22/45, browning buck mark, etc. and I'll be sure to get one that's also threaded

Unless it is a "classic" gun I'm buying, I don't think I'll ever buy a new rifle or pistol that's not threaded for a suppressor.

I gave my son both my Rugers but still own him so 😜 , the pistol is a # ll 6'7/8" competition stainless, the 1022T is blued hammer forged barrel. Both will shoot with about anything out there.

I bought a Ruger MKIV stainless target and a Burris red dot for squirrel hunting last year. I took it last January to a spot where squirrels were everywhere in deer season but not a single one was there that day. Lol

I'm not very good with a handgun but really enjoy shooting 22s just for grins. I bought a Model 41 back in the 70s and it's stupid accurate. I'd love to put a red dot on it but that would require altering the gun and I don't want to do that. There are aftermarket barrels available that are red dot compatible but pricey. I bought a Tac Sol 22 conversion kit for my Glock 19 and it's fun to shoot. Cheap trigger time to become more familiar with the Glock trigger and sight picture. The one I hate getting rid of was a S&W 63 4". It was a fun shooter and I carried it in the woods a bunch for the odd squirrel and rabbit.
