I bought a Ruger MKIV stainless target and a Burris red dot for squirrel hunting last year. I took it last January to a spot where squirrels were everywhere in deer season but not a single one was there that day. Lol

Try early Dec...it's the squirrel rut then.

Heritage has a shopkeeper model, very small, very cheap
The gate guard at a distillery in Lynchberg had an NAA revolver in his belt buckle, better than nothing I guess. I have a Walther P-22 with a Dead Air Mask, all you hear is the action cycle and the thump of the bullet hit.

Browning Buckmark URX target, with 7in fluted barrel(bought it new in 2007). I would like to get a Ruger or SW 22revolver 6in barrel with the 22LR and 22mag cylinders.

Although I dont carry it much anymore since I dont trap much anymore, this Taurus 9 shot .22lr has done everything I ever asked of it.
It is well built, very similar to a S&W.
These days I train new shooters to the range using it if they have never fired a gun before.
Cant go wrong with a good quality .22lr revolver.

I've got a Ruger Mark 2 competition that has killed more things than I can possibly remember. My mom got it for me for my 18th birthday. Now days I carry a S&W Victory 22 when I'm on the farm. I had trouble with it cycling spent shells but YouTube showed how to fix that and I ain't had a problem since.
