Any ideas what these actually are? Pretty neat looking but I have no ideas.

My first thought was grinding stones, something simular is used in Mexico to grind corn.

That's what I thought, just never seen something shaped like this with the angled rock.

Definitely a pedestal. Not sure about the angled rock. Could be natural but does look like some use wear on it.

They were together and it was purposely worn out like that. Definitely not natural

Obviously not my cup of tea so it's going to be for sale. Problem is I have no idea what a fair price would be.

A very nice pestle! I've never seen a mortar shaped like that but if they were found together, that's most likely what it is. Very rare to find a matching set anymore. Awesome find!

They are both pestles, one is a traditional shape, while the angled one just gives you a larger surface to grind with. The traditional one was probably used in a bowl shaped mortar, while the other may have been used on a flat surface, like the first pic in my first post. It is held by the curved part, sometimes with both hands.
