Lost 4 chickens and one just hanging on in the last 2 days. Of course it had to happen while I was away. Whatever got them left scat in the roost. I set up tonight with my .410 and some Remington TSS. I saw it and it saw me and ran. My childhood coon huntin' memories kicked in. I looked up and there was something white out on a limb. I grabbed my cell phone flashlight and sure enough, those eyes lit up.
Shot once and hit him on the limb. He was coming face down climbing down the tree, hit him again and knocked him off. He started doing flips and spinning so I finished him off with one more shot.
Anybody around the Wilson county area training coon dog pups and need a drag let me know. If not I'm just going to toss it.
