While I wait on my form 4 to come back for my suppressor, I am wanting to work up some .308 subsonic loads. Does anyone have any reloading data or experience with subsonic reloads?

Check over on silencertalk.com in the handloading forum. Theye are a few guys there that do it.

Which suppressor are you waiting on? I have an Ops Inc 3rd Model on my Rem 700 SPS Tactical and love it

Thank you, I will check it out. I'm waiting on a YHM Phantom .308. Unfortunately, my form 4 has only been pending about a month now so I still have a long wait.

I wish PMC was still on here, he used to dabble in that stuff all the time. I know alot of guys like to use a heavy for cal bullet, and Trail Boss powder, but I cant help much after that.

not in 308 but I have a load with the 75 Hornady and Bluedot that is subsonic in the 223.

Mr. Big, do you mind forwarding me that load? I would be really interested in trying it out. Thank you.

sent,

just be careful and work down slowly and make sure after every shot that the bullet made it out the bbl before shooting the next round,,

it is a blast to shoot at 50-100 yards even without a can,,maybe I will have the extra cash for a good can sometime in the near future..
