Anyone else out in this mess?

I like to be out there when it stops when conditions are right. Today however I sat in a stand from sunrise to sunset and saw nothing but turkeys!

Why does rain matter? Just curious.
From my experiences, a heavy rain will cause them to bed and stay there until it's over. Unless, it's a multiple day storm. A light drizzle they'll conduct business as usual. During the rut though, I've seen all that go out the window. When you're horny, you're horny. Like I said, this is just from what I've seen.

I love a light steady rain. I've seen some of my biggest deer during this type of weather. Out in the blind now. Felt like a kid at Christmas time waiting on this weekend to get here. Good luck to everyone!

Have ice and rain mix this morning here and stiff unfavorable, for where I want to go, north west wind. Wife got called in to work last night, my son will be up any minute. I had a butt soaking in brine that I needed to cook anyway. Hate I am not in s stand right now though. Feels like it should be a great morning.

I am not sure but I am pretty sure it was sleeting in Dickson a few minutes ago. Got soaked walking to my ground blind. Thankfully I had the hindsight to bring a dry shirt in my pack just in case. Waiting on Mr. Big now lol

I hope a bunch of you in West Tennessee are out there this morning. I have a busy schedule today but was going to sit near the edge of my property for about an hour and a half in a little while. I need you all to get them moving for me.

Not today, rain / snow mix and gusty. Plan to be out in the am though. Good luck all.

Nice and comfy in my shoothouse. But the wind is howling here

Have seen a 17inside 2.5yo so far. He's going to be incredible if he makes it to adulthood.

Sitting over a plot of coop blend. Don't really even remember what's in it. Rain stopped about an hour ago but the wind is still whipping pretty good.

I observe the deer in it every day here overlooking the cropfields on the farm. Downpours are worthless, rain in the morning is worthless, rain midday is worthless, light rain with fog in the evening is priceless. I will go from the norm or 30 to 40'deer to upwards of a 100 in these conditions. They are also enter the crops earlier in these conditions
