Anyone getting something new for the season?

Ren you got a pic of that Benelli. It sure sounds sweet. I had an h&k sbe 24" in black with ff2 and a rhino. It was a sweet gun and wish I would have kept it but didn't. Would like to find another one soon.

this is without the steady grip and FF3 added on. Should have the speed bead mount in a few days and my steady grip stock back from Rob Roberts and will take an updated Turkey version pic of it

I want to either get some new sights or a red dot for my gun. Also, will probably have to try some new ammunition. I can't seem to find the Winchester Supreme 3.5" 6 shot around here or even online. I am thinking about trying the new Winchester long beard or whatever its called.

if you go red dot the FF3 is hard to beat, however an awesome cheaper version is the Mueller Quick Shot. It is a bit bigger overall but for the money it is very nice. I used it shooting 3" magblends on my old stoeger and it was rock sold. Sold it to a buddy who is shooting it off his 835 and he hasn't had any issues either from it.

I have some if you need it and happen through my area.... PM me if interested....

Since this is only my second year i had to get alot of new stuff. Stoeger 350, jellyhead choke, vest, few different calls, and some awesome Lacross boots. I am so glad Accademy had their turkey stuff on clearance this fall and winter. And dicks had some vests on clearance from 89.99 to 19.99. I got one for me and one for my son. We already used them tree rat hunting and the thick seat pad was so nice.

I'm thinking about trying decoys again. I haven't hunted with them over the last 3 years. Last year I had a few scenarios where I think they would have come in handy . The paint has faded on the decoys I currently own. I saw the Avian-X's at Basspro the other day. Those puppies look very real. I wonder if the finish on them will fade like others??

You'll love the SBE2. I have one with the steady grip and it makes a huge difference when turkey hunting.

As for buying new things, I told myself I wasn't going to buy any new pot calls seeing as how I have way too many. Well, I already ordered one earlier this week. I was looking for a good ceramic call and this one popped up. Other than that I'm looking forward to seeing Cabela's new turkey vests and the new decoys coming out.

Ill get hammered for this but i want one of those flat fabric strutting tom decoys so i can pull it out when needed and i can hold it up and crawl behind it. Sometimes in those open pines i hunt 90 to 100 yards is close as they will come.
