Anyone go after snow geese?

Several years ago a friend and I went to ND and pass shot them. We did pretty good and it was a blast watching those giant tornadoes of snow geese.

Despite many giving them a bad rap, I thought they tasted great.

Went a few years back in Arkansas on the conservation hunt..layout blinds in rice fields. Had a blast. Unplugged shotguns unlimited limits. Saw thousands. Killed our share

I get my fill of them during duck season. I'm glad to wind down when duck season ends. I don't have the interest or energy to chase them when the conservation season starts.

I agree. As long as they get those hero pics for "the gram", that's what matters most.

a double waste it appears. why not process the meat for area food banks. just fillet the breast and be done with. best meat, minimal effort exerted. and less waste to boot. we've got a "hunters for the hungry program. ???
